Launching with innovation in a mature, competitive market
There are not many business leaders prepared to put their necks on the line and enter what is a mature competitive market in a recession. Yet this is precisely what a small group of private investors has done with the launch of new international company, Hygiene Vision, at the cleaning industry’s leading international trade fair, ISSA Interclean 2010.
Hygiene Vision was formed in March 2009 and started trading in Europe in June 2009 – fast progress by anyone’s standards. Driven by a vision of providing improved product performance and genuine innovation, the business has been set up in a unique way. The management team operates in a virtual workplace from strategic locations in the UK and Europe. Physical manufacturing takes place in China and mainland Europe with warehousing, logistics and customer service based in Europe.
This is a unique collaboration of international hygiene experience drawn from manufacturing, logistics and distribution sectors operating in markets across the world. Both investors and the management team are leading players in the cleaning industry, united and driven in their conviction that there is room in the market for improvement and innovation, not just in terms of product development but also in the way customers are looked after and business conducted. The company initially developed a range of air freshening, wc and urinal cleaning and soap refill products designed to function in most leading systems in the market, quickly establishing a distributor base in 32 countries in mainland Europe. It has gone on to introduce new technologies and innovations that are performance-approved for reliability, versatility and effectiveness in the international washroom hygiene market.
